PANEL DISCUSSION DESCRIPTION

Although conjunctivitis is one of the most common clinical problems seen in cats worldwide, this condition continues to present diagnostic and therapeutic challenges for general practitioners and specialists alike. Navigating the aetiology of feline conjunctivitis can often be a complicated and frustrating process for both the cat owner and the veterinarian. Our panel of world-leading experts will share how they attempt to work out the aetiology of, and treatment course for, both acute and chronic inflammation of this vulnerable mucous membrane in their feline patients. Evidence-based, up-to-date information on diagnostic and medical advances will be presented and details debated. Join us for what promises to be a fascinating enlightening panel discussion. Questions and comments from attendees will be welcomed.

Dr. Lauren Demos qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Murdoch University in 2012, and has since worked in various aspects of feline medicine, including general practice, referral medicine, radioiodine therapy, telehealth, infectious disease research, and shelter medicine.
