Dr. Scharf earned both her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Georgia followed by rotating internships in both small and large animal medicine. Afterwards, she moved to Columbus, Ohio for a residency in diagnostic imaging at the Ohio State University. She received her board certification with the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2023 and relocated to the east coast where she currently works full-time for Antech and has a part time appointment with the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. She is interested in both large and small animal imaging with a clinical and research interest in musculoskeletal pathology. Her favorite imaging modality is MRI. Outside of work, Dr. Scharf enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her dog Penelope, and horseback riding.
