Dr. Fuchs completed her studies in Veterinary Medicine at Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany in 2008. During her studies she spent a semester abroad at the Faculty of Veterinary Science in Pretoria South Africa. She then worked in well-known large equine hospitals in the south of Germany where she received training as a qualified Veterinary Specialist for Horses that she accomplished in 2012. Further on, in 2015, she became an IVCA-certified Veterinary Chiropractor and started to expand her knowledge in equine regenerative orthopedics through a position at the stem cell company InGeneron Equine.

In 2017, Dr. Fuchs obtained her doctorate (German equivalent for PhD) at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany. She therefore researched the highly relevant topic of Narcolepsy versus REM sleep deficiency. Through her studies, Dr. Fuchs became an internationally well-known expert in equine sleep medicine. She stayed as a research associate at the University of Munich until the end of 2018. Dr. Fuchs then started her own sleep behaviour lab at the Equine Hospital in Luesche, Germany, where she additionally further pursues her passion for orthopedics and rehabilitation. She is also a qualified veterinary acupuncturist, offers consultations for horses with behavioural problems and is responsible for the behavioural training of the patients in the hospital.
