Mr Luigi Poggiali started his career as farrier under the supervision of Giuliano Savioli in 1987 working with trotters in the “Orsi Magelli” stable and then moved to follow Aristide Benelli for equestrian sports including jumping, dressage and eventing. Throughout the years, he has worked with important figures of the equestrian field (including M. Biasia, G. Menchi, J.C. Garcia, F. Fourcade, D. Zetterman, O. Abdelkebir, Whitaker family, P. Barrios, S. Lambre, E. Andrade, J. Fredrikson,) taking part to high level international events and the Olympic games.
Amongst other important activities, Mr Poggiali worked, from 2005 to 2008, as official farrier for the Global Champion Tour in Arezzo (ITALY) and collaborated with Arnie Gervasio in the United States, and in 2014 he was farrier for the Longines Athina Onassis Horse show in Saint Tropez.
Nowadays, he follows several stables around Europe (France, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Italy) and different jumper horses in Argentina with pathologies including  navicular disease, laminitis, inflammation of suspensory and flexor tendons,  and quarter cracks.
