Originally from Burlington, Ontario, Dr. John Murray obtained his DVM degree in 2008 from the Ontario Veterinary College and subsequently completed a rotating small animal internship at the Ontario Veterinary College. During this time, John developed an interest in emergency medicine. In 2009, John moved to Calgary to join the talented emergency team at the C.A.R.E. Centre. John considers emergency practice to be very rewarding and embraces the challenges and variety it provides. He also enjoys clinical education of interns and 4th year veterinary students that rotate through the hospital. Dr. Murray is also the Medical Director at CARE and takes great pride in being a part of a fantastic team dedicated to high level patient care. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time outside with his family is an avid basketball fan (go Raptors!)
