Maja graduated from the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Poland in 2010. After graduation she worked for 2 years at the same university in the Surgical Department where her main focus was anaesthesia and emergency critical care. 

She moved to the United Kingdom in 2012 and undertook an Internship at the University of Liverpool followed by a Residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the Royal Veterinary College in London. She obtained a Master’s degree from the RVC in 2016 and her European board certification in 2017. Following her residency, Maja joined Dick White Referrals in 2017 where she worked for four years before moving to Australia and joining the Small Animal Specialty Hospital in Sydney where she provides anaesthesia as well as acute and chronic pain management service.
