Marianne graduated from the University of Lyon, France, in 2007. She performed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at the same University, and worked as an assistant in equine ambulatory, emergency and internal medicine for two years. Marianne went on with a residency in internal medicine at the University of Nantes, France and started a clinical research program based on respiratory diseases in racehorses. She worked as a clinician in equine medicine at the University of Nantes for two years after completing her residency. Marianne became a Diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine in 2015, and passed her PhD the same year. She is now working in a private practice in Saint Aubin de Branne, near Bordeaux, France. Marianne has published several articles in international peer-reviewed and national veterinary journals on various topics such as respiratory, neurology or ophthalmology. She has lectured at international and national conferences, and regularly participates in congresses on equine internal medicine.
