Rosie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), London in 2006 and went on to complete an internship at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic. She then moved to Newmarket and worked as an assistant in first opinion practice before returning to the RVC in July 2008, to undertake a residency in Equine Internal Medicine. In 2011 Rosie was awarded a Masters degree for her research on Equine Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy and passed the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) Diploma in Large Animal Medicine the same year. Rosie is currently completing a PhD investigating muscle protein synthesis in the horse, within the Comparative Neuromuscular Diseases Laboratory at the RVC, and she continues to see clinical cases through her participation in the emergency service at the Equine Referral Hospital. Rosie has several publications, in peer-reviewed journals, on equine internal medicine and in particular neuromuscular diseases of the horse. She has also presented by invitation at a number international conferences.
