Zach was raised in North Alabama competing in eventing and polocrosse. He received farrier training through apprenticeships under many farriers and podiatrists across the country while going through undergraduate school at Jacksonville State University and graduating from Auburn University in 2018. He spent his preceptorship with Rood and Riddle Podiatry and completed a one year-extensive internship at Tennessee Equine Hospital. He currently works in Harvest, AL, at the Tennessee Equine Hospital-South location and travels weekly to the main clinic and other satellite clinics for podiatry cases.
