Dr. Samuel Hurcombe graduated from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia, in 2003 before completing an equine intensive internship at Randwick Equine Center in Sydney. In 2005 he went to Ohio State University where he completed an equine internal medicine residency, MS degree and emergency and critical care fellowship. He then stayed on at OSU as an emergency and critical care facility member. In 2014, Dr. Hurcombe went to Cornell where he is a clinical associate professor in equine emergency and internal medicine and is based at Cornell Ruffian.
